Welcome to the Willamette Valley Chapter of CSIClick here to return to the front.
Joseph F. "Joe" Dworkin, FCSI, CDT, Principal Partner in Dworkin-NSN LLC/Consulting

Since 1981, Joe has been providing roofing, waterproofing and technical building enclosure consulting services to owners, designers, and constructors of commercial and residential buildings.

Joe has made the building enclosure and determining cause(s) of "unwanted" water in buildings—above and below grade—the focus of his expertise. He has worked on hundreds of projects all over the U.S. as a consultant, an expert, or as a spec writer for Divisions 6, 7, 8 & 9. Joe’s articles and technical programs are aimed at educating participants in the construction process about how to prevent or eliminate the many kinds of water infiltration problems that seem to be plaguing our industry, and costing billions of dollars in lost time, legal fees, and damages.

2006 marks the "silver anniversary" of Joe Dworkin's professional consultancy. He is a Fellow of CSI, and 30-year member. He is a member of Willamette Valley CSI, and a member of the Roof Consultants Institute, the National Roofing Contractors Association and the Society of American Value Engineers. His technical articles on Division 7 matters have appeared in The Construction Specifier magazine, and he has presented seminars and lectured on building enclosure issues at regional and national CSI, CREIA, and ACIA conferences and conventions. Joe's home and office are just a few miles from Ashland and Medford, Oregon, in the southern Rogue Valley's burgeoning wine country.
